This is a handmade wooden tailbait. It has a bulky cylindershaped body who messaures 12cm and the total length with curlytail are 25cm. It weighs arround 105gr(tail included).
I made this lure to get something inbetween a regular tailbait and a gliding jerktail.
I really love fishing a regular tailbait with just slow and steady retrieve, but sometimes when the bites dont comes I miss the possibility to 'do something' with the lurepresentation.
...and vice verca while using a gliding jerktail it sometimes feels to predictable with its constant side to side-taps(glides).
So the Kingdingeling are built to work as a regular tailbait with its ability to just use superslow steady retrieve whit that neat swimming while the curlytail wiggles, but allso has the possibility to get it to glide out to the sides diving using short pulls with the rod which can be the gamechanger if a pike follows without biting for example.
The Kingdingeling are lowfloat, so long spinstops works great. During steady retrieve it runs on arroun 1.5m of depth.
..casts like a rocket and has great hookset!
In the Kingdingelings you really get a reliable lure, it does its thing allso during faster drifts with the boat as well as during static slowmotion-presentation in coldwater bays full of breams and BIG pikes. The perfect tailbait!
